Positive Behavior Interventions and Support
Lighthouse Students

Lighthouse students earn SAIL tokens for good behavior. Students can use these tokens to purchase things at the school store.
Students are recognized as Laker of the Week and Laker Leaders!

If students do not follow school or classroom rules, he/she will experience negative consequences as a result of poor choices.  When mistakes or problem behaviors occur during the school day you may receive a note home with your child.
  • A “Minor Infraction” form that might come home with your student if he/she had an “oops” moment at school - not a major concern, but something to discuss or be aware.
  • More serious behaviors/concerns will be addressed in the office and an “Office Referral” form would be sent home - often accompanied by a phone call.
We use these forms to collect data that allows us to adjust our instruction and/or school environment to minimize problem behaviors and increase positive ones. If your child ever brings one of these behavior forms home, we request that you sign and return it the next day.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Support Naldrett Students

STAR PROMISE Today I will strive to do my best by being kind, responsible, respectful, and safe. I will look for ways to grow and improve. My life makes a difference at Naldrett Elementary.

In STEM-Tech, if a student misbehaves, they will have a consequence of a conference with me. If the behavior continues or is a major school violation, the student will be referred to the office.

Six students a month will be recognized for doing something extraordinary. Teachers and staff will issue a golden ticket for doing the right thing. The students who receive the golden ticket will chose a lunch from a restaurant in the community and get to eat their lunch with Officer DePape!
