• taking photos at school-wide events
• taking photos at classroom parties
• communicating with teachers and students in the course of their photography
• learning about photo composition
• making decisions about cover art and layouts
• using Lifetouch software to explore making a spread in the yearbook
• organizing yearbook distribution
